2/4, 10 players. Pretty average table. Most flops are raised to $15 by someone and get 2-3 callers.

Villain has been pretty straight forward, he's no TAG, just a 35/10 kinda guy. Have not seen him bluff once in 3 hours, is not particularly aggressive.
Hero had a sick beat earlier and has been getting lots of action from people who think he's tilting. Has been raising more speculative hands for multiway action, hoping to hit big, checking missed flops. Successful so far.

Villain has $500
Hero has $900

3 limpers to hero
Hero has K 6 in MP & raises to $15
2 callers including villain in BB and another after him (Hero has position).

Flop ($47) is K 7 4
Checks to hero who cBets $35
2 calls

Turn is brick 9
hero cBets $75
1 fold
Villain (~$450) calls
River ($267) A

Hero checks
Villain ($300) bets $150

Hero??
How do you feel about Hero's river check? WWYD?

"3 limpers to hero with K6 & raises to $15"

'Flop Bingo' for hero who has been runnin' really good! Congratz!

I know an alcoholic who left a 1/2NL table last week, passin' out & in a blackout with close to 3k. Usually he donks it back, but he was unable to continue due to his condition.

Anyone can run good.

Hand history doesn't make sense. If you have position and villain is BB, how can you check to him on the river.

Also, fold pre.

If $15 won't get you heads up you really need a hand better then K6s. Something is wrong in your play description though. If villain is in BB then villain has to go first. Positions make a big difference in this hand because you would be happy to check back on the river. If villain has position on you then you need to consider checking turn or blocking bet river.

I don't know what the term "taking the piss outta' me' means.
What I was saying: I'm a TAG [who by the way doesn't avg $20+ per hr long-term this year at 1/2 NL. Only 4 months >$20] who would never raise with that hand in that situation and cannot recall reading a book/article that would recommend it.

I now recall a time, over a decade ago @ the Borgata in AC, playing in a 5/10 limit Hold 'Em game, where a guy amassed 3k in what I think was 3, 4 hours max playing any suited king or queen and various other stuff.

He was in seat 7 and once pissed off the guy in seat 2 so much when he sucked out on seat 2, that seat 2 did an excellent job of throwing his cards are seat 7 & tossed his chips across the table.

Sometimes you're the 'Big Dog' & sometimes you're the tree stump
