Villain in this hand was after me all night. Calling every time I raised. Just trying to get me, but he was unsuccessful most of the night. I folded to a turn raise from him earlier in the night. His stack size was around $500 to start the hand.

Hero: 30 something wg who was pretty active with big hands, but folding bad hands preflop. Stack size of around $1500

$5 on the button with no blinds and a local card room. 6 handed action at this time.

One player limps and Hero looks down at 7Set turned into boat on flush board️7Set turned into boat on flush board️. Makes it $20 in hj which is mp 6 handed. Cutoff calls. Villain on the button calls. Limper calls.

Flop ($80): ASet turned into boat on flush board️ 10Set turned into boat on flush board️ 7Set turned into boat on flush board

Checked to hero who bets $30. Fold to villain who calls $30. Limper folds.

Turn ($140) 9Set turned into boat on flush board

Hero bets $60. Villain calls $60

River ($260) 10Set turned into boat on flush board

What are you doing in this spot? And thoughts on betting sizes pre, otf and ott

Not sure why you are using MTT betsizing on a wet board here, we should bet 3/4 pot, AP you can check shove with the dynamic you have with him but its probably better to just bomb $250 and see if you get paid.

I'm .75 pot leading every street. If he has a flush he might
raise river anyways. No need to try and get fancy because it
sucks when he checks back his Ax which will happen a ton.

Yeah, your bet sizing is off postflop. With a set, I'm trying to play for stacks. let's make sure we are sizing for it.

As others have said, you need to bet more on the flop. You should be targeting the hands that will call a 2/3+ pot size bet (Ax, hearts, maybe Tx), rather than trying to string along weaker hands that might call the small flop bet but fold to a normal C-bet.

Yeah, after the hand was played, I felt like I played it bad. With the guy coming after me, I was hoping he would think I wasn't strong with my little bets and come over the top otf and ott. Which he didnt do... I feel like against anyone else, I would have bet more. I guess it might be a slight case of a misread???

pre is probably to small if i'm reading this right

When we flop a set we want to get stacks in what is the effective stack?
$500

Flop is (80)
I would bet around 60 here

OTT (200)
Again as others have said bet on the big side 150

OTR (500)
270 puts him all in
