maybe it was just timing, but its exactly what i needed to hear at the time. thnx gobbo.
I realized that spewwing, although really a strategic mistake, has it's origin in ones' 'mindset'
when youre thinking about being on a short roll, or your recent losses, or that cell phone bill, whatever, then youre
head is not in the game.
youre not really present in the game,
and your mindset, or lack thereof won't allow you to play correctly until you fix it.
you will continue to spew, even if you know better.
that's why I look to TMWWN.
he is about executing, and performing, and not theorizing.
we all know the correct play, but rebel against it over and over sometimes when we arent on our A game.
How well do we know it, then?
If we could actually execute what we know in an ideal world, we would have graduated from LS by now.
poker isnt played in a vacuum.
how you perform in a vacuum (here on the forum) doesnt mean s#@yt.
it's how you perform in the trenches that matters.
that's the challenge.
that's where discipline as a determining factor comes in.
