2/5
Ten Handed
120bbs effective

Villain (LP, 20s Asian Male): Playing pretty tight and straightforward. Nothing significant to note.
Only hand I saw him showdown was when he called an UTG ($200) raise of $25 from the big blind with 910, lead on 1037 flop, shove a turn and lose to JQ
Hero (UTG+1)

Preflop:
I call a $10 straddle with AK, Villain calls $10, BTN raises to $60, I reraise to $160, Villain goes all in for ~$620 total, BTN folds, I...?

It sucks but I think it's a fold. Your line is strong. He is tight. Just think this is KK+ atleast 75% of the time.

Fold.

Can you tell us why limp raise was in order vs. regular open?

Fold unless Hero is perceived as a maniac. Unfortunately we have zero information on how Hero is perceived by Villain.

Depends if you put AK (~40% equity) in his range or just AA/KK (~23%). Given he made the shove against 2 live aggressive actors I'd give it more respect. Although it's a bit weird to limp/RRAI from the CO.

This needs more context for the situation where two limp/raises are happening in the same hand. How has the table been playing in general? What is your history, and what have you seen from villain?

By default, fold. You limp/raises and villain still came over the top.

I had an interesting spot with AK, only I three bet a tight opener. Curious though, why open limp AKs in a straddled pot, isn't this exactly what we're wanting to look down at for a raise v. a straddle?
