LOLZZ I had the same kind of situation Last Sat night. Guy said to his buddy on Q 6 2 rainbow that he had AA. I had KK. Guy lead out for 100 in to 100. I ship 300 he calls flips over AQ.

People telling their hand while its your turn to act is weak 9/10 in my experience.

OMG. What an idiot. I can't believe he called. What it the world did he think you had? Did he really think you were trying to bluff AA off that board? I want to play against him!

I guess everyone has different experiences, but at my reg filled table it is totally opposite.

Lol, last time out I raised 88 against a poor face up limper. Flop AQ9, I check back, Qr turn, I check back again (my flop/turn play is debatable). Anyways, A river for a AAQQ9 board and he lol's and shakes his head, turns his cards to his neighbour and laughs "ha, I can't even win". I bet, and he folds his chopping underpair face up.

The week before that, the old reg to my left limps AA and checks thru a Axx flop. I pick up 2nd pair on the turn and bet it, and he lol's and says something like "lol, I have top set so I guess I have to call" (FWIW, I never check down a hand with anyone, I'm ruthless like that). I check river and he shows the AA.

Villain grabbing chips reminds me of the tell when villain is last to act and grabs chips in an attempt to discourage hero from betting. This looks really similar to that IMO. Villain is saying "I'm not going to fold" in an attempt to look strong and scare you.

I'm not buying villain having a set because he didn't raise earlier and AA/KK look really unlikely. A villain this loose can show up with plenty of weaker hands.

Not betting the river (and flop) was a mistake IMO.
