I think V never having a J is wrong... an OP maybe so. Maybe V has a hand like QJ, J9 and is taking some weird pot control line. V is playing against what he believes to be the other tight player on the table. V is comfortable with telling us that he wants to 3! the whale. IMO that means V thinks we are competent enough to talk to and may not want to play a big pot. On the river V believes he has the best hand because it checked through so he feels obligated to vbet the river...
Saying he never has a J is not correct in my book. The OP thing I agree more with (but he could be playing those bad also)...
AP you call here with pairs. A ton missed.
FWIW, I don't mind a fold with some of those pairs (the low ones).. I try to make it a point not to hero call too much in LLSNL.
