Please ignore the 4 digit numbers you might see scattered throughout the post

1/2

HERO : Th8h

FLOP : 9h Jd 6d Kh 5s

Assumes Hero raises and V calls(OOP)

Pot : 23$

Hero cbets 15$ on dynamic wet board.
(Probably 50% of the deck left is going to be a scare card)

V check raises to 45$.

Hero calls
(V might be check raising with sets, two pairs, TOP PAIR*to charge draws* , draws.
But, hero has a Straight draw + medium backdoor flush draw as well, though the straight draw is the second nuts OTT if a Q does fall)
(Redraws on RIVER too, very dynamic board)

(Dynamic boards might see V continuing to the RIVER with at least a TP)

...1535 should hero reraise here?
Or just call and play a smaller pot if we do hit, because...

1st - It's difficult to make big hands.
(If V wants to play a big pot, and they have more strong hands in their range as compared to weak hands, we can fold)

2nd - V might have alot of weak hands in their range which they won't call a big bet with.
We can get them to call us with their weaker hands.

1547

TURN : Kh

Pot : 118$

Well, we have a flush draw now.

30%~ to hit our hand.

V checks, we bet 80$. V calls.

V will be continuing with TPTK+, I believe.

TPTK and probably weaker TWO PAIRS will be bluff catchers if RIVER bricks.

If I have a set, I would probably reraise OTF to 60$, and bet/check raise again OTT.

BETTING is better.

If I were the REG, I would figure that there are a lot of draws in V(Us, Lester..) and other weaker hands such as weaker sets/TWOPAIR

Back to us.

RIVER : 5s

POT : 278$

---
Lets back track little here to the TURN street.

Assuming we both started with 200$, we both are left with 65$.

(Different actions taken and thought process)

1st - V checks TURN, we bet.
V is much better raising all in us OTT since we are already committed.

2nd - V check TURN, we check.
OTT for us, we should have just checked it back and hope we hit our hand.

3rd - V leads TURN, we raise all in.
If V have a set here, we believe V would be betting around 80$.

Pot OTT : 198$

We have to call 80 to win 198$.

2.5 to 1

We have to be right here about 28.7% to breakeven, am i right?

Should we shove all in here for extra 65$?
If we do shove here, is the math then,
65$/65+(80+278)= %?

Should our 80$ call be included as the reward, if we were to shove for an additional 65$?

Last question. RIVER bricks. Assuming that we bet 80$ and V calls OTT, what could we do OTR? We have like 4.5 to 1.

What's your thoughts?

On the flop i assume villain is check raising 2p+. I think V is most likely check calling draws. You dont have the immediate odds to call. But if you think V will stack off no matter what then i would call flop and check back turn.

Yeah i think so too.

Would it be safe to assume that dynamic flops would see continuation than more than static flops almost no draws?

As well, what's the immediate odds you was explaining about?
Is it that we are not getting at least 2:1 for calling because of the diamond draw(6outs for our straight excluding Qd, 8d), or because of our Th8h against villain's check raising range?

The stacking off thingy, we calling flop for implied odds right?

Hah. This is actually my reflection time notes. Decided to post in since its a pretty interesting hand which many hands would continue with and many, including myself would make mistakes on.

The 4 digits are lottery numbers.
Just kidding. Time stamps they are.

Thanks for answering, looking forward to your replies
