villian is loose passive pre and pretty much every street. i havent seen him ever before but i can tell he's a fish from a mile away. i haven't seen him make a single bet but he will call damn near any bet. standard live player imo
middle aged dude
he limps in EP
i raise to 11 with 6
7
one caller in LP one caller in the blinds and villian calls too
villian has about 300 and I cover
flop is 7
7
3
checks to me I bet 37 and get called only by original limper
turn 9
villain check calls my bet of 103
river 2
villian checks
I jammed here and I think it's pretty standard vs this type of player but my friend was at table too and told me he didnt think that was a good bet and he woulda checked back in that spot with my hand claiming that because the board is so dry and that he is putting in so much money out of position that his hand is either a FH or a better 7 here
its a decent argument but I think that I miss a ton of value here vs hands like TT/JJ etc etc or whatever he wants to hero call with and so be it if he was capable of donkey check-call trifectaing me with a better hand then he deserves the money
i didnt particularly have this read on him at the time but my friend who spoke to me about the hand said that this villian was check-calling monsters all the time but i still don't think thats enough of a read to check back here but i'm curious about other peoples opinions. yea the board is dry and its not a lot of made hands that are check calling 2 streets let alone a river shove here but i think that almost does more benefit to my hand than it does harm because people just love to look up light in spots like this because of the dry ness of the board and they 'put me on AK' or somethin stupid along those lines
just curious of other peoples opinions
thanks in advance
