Hi,

I tend to run into trouble in these spots reading it as a squeeze.

3/5 nl 500 max buyin

I have an active aggressive image but had the goods most times. Lost most of my profit to 2 hands (1 bad PF call and 1 draw out)

Hero (UTG) 750$
Button 195$

PF
Raise to $15 and 3 callers.
Button raises to $75
I call the $60 after tanking - intending to shove most flops.
All others fold.
I put button on big pairs TT+, AQ+ etc

Flop is 7sJs3s

Giving me nut flush draw and I bet 120 putting button AI.

is this hand a fold preflop? Given the short stack and 3 callers with 200ish behind me.

Thanks.

So no villain reads? That is really the most important piece of information you need to make your decision. If there are no villain reads, and this game plays similar to a typical 2/5 game then this is a fold as most players aren't squeezing.

Is there really value in flatting pre and shoving all flops? I don't know how to make that play. This is raise/fold for me.

Why get into a big pot with AQ when you put the button on AQ+ or TT+? You're behind to literally that entire range.

standard fold unless the button in a capable aggro player, which in that case you can flat or 4b. But in this case with multiple callers and re-raising over 1/3 of his stack, just fold. Your plan here is a big spew and you just happened to have hit one of those flops in which you have a lot of equity.

If you are shoving most flop , why not shoving pre ?

Ya fold pre... As played you should at least declare AI to give v the illusion that u have it now... As it sits he may not notice u have put him all in and this can sometimes be the little xtra you need to get a fold if he has a pair.

I don't understand making the comment that you range the villain on TT+, AQ+, then proceed to call with AQ. Why are you calling if you know you're at the bottom of his range?

Pre is spew, flop is standard, though I bet $100. This is scarier than an AI.

Only to thinking players though

you can probably profit in LLSNL by folding everything but QQ+ to 3 bets preflop. It's how I climed out of 2NL 5 years ago and it works today in live poker. AQ UTG with 40 people left to act= easy fold. Why are you planning on shoving most flops if you range him at what you did? doesn't make any sense.

I agree, I even fold Queens to 3bets sometimes preflop.

Well said, obvious question. If you thought it was a squeeze than go allin preflop.

I agree with every comment. Looking back I just tilted myself into calling after a couple of suckouts. Just convinced myself that it is "my turn" to suckout. Lost
my mental balance in this hand and proceeded to spew for a while. Thanks everyone.
