I don't necessarily think this is true, but if you're gonna do it, never do it with KK. Save that for AA. Also, save that for hands that aren't 50BBs effective. (Edit: 25BBs with the straddle! FFS just bet flop).
And it's more relevant on wet boards, not dry boards. Dry boards with a T or above on them should be c-bet by all broadway overcard hands so you are safe to always c-bet AA/KK too.
As played, I would just jam the turn. Make him think you're ffs.
