What do you suppose the calling range is for someone at LLSNL facing a five bet shove and needing to call $650 to win $1350?

The problem I limped pre was because the REG 3bets a wide range which actually would of worked out in my favor this hand big time had I of called his 3bet.

Spoiler:
Villian had Jd9d and beats me again =( - Reg had KQ and claimed he would of 3bet but who knows he may of over called. If he 3bet I think i was deep enough to set mine as I had about $1500 stack and he had a $3000 stack. Oh well - Maybe why i'm not winning more.

Per OP's post, this is a 2/5 game with a 1k cap buy-in. Straddle is on. He was against an aggressive reg. Lol at folding KK pre.

I didn’t say you should fold KK pre...

I’m just never five bet shoving it there and I’m pretty sure if you think hard about it you’ll figure out why.

There's just not enough superfluous info before getting to the hand in question. We need more hand histories, more stack size tracking, maybe even what every player had for breakfast.

his get it in range is TT+ - we were at an aggressive table and it was 6 max - game was decent but I was on table xfer list. Just unfortante I got that hand like 3 hands before they call my name to xfer tables. Talk about running bad - if you arn't 5bet shoving I think you are missing tons of value.

I did end up flopping top set that hand though but I can't hold

+1, as long as we avoid any relevant info on why the fish is a fish.

if you think that there is a 50% chance that he would do that, call.
... where'd you get that number from?

I'd probably raise flop a bit bigger to set up turn size that gets more calls.

As played I sigh call.

I dont get checking the turn. I think if you have a flush there you are betting. And if V has SD with a diamond you are letting him fully realize his equity.
wat?

but we do not haf a flush??
