I've been playing poker for a month and a half, played 1/2 once and the game was super soft so I went back, but this time the game was much tougher and I should probably not have stayed.

my opponents played very loose and often 3bet hands like 57s oop, but mostly limping, often all around the board (they all knew each other and I think they just wanted to see as many flops as possible to have fun). I decided to tighten up.

Hero has QdJh on SB
Villain 1 raises to $7 from lojack
Villain 2 calls from BTN
Hero calls
flop comes Qs Js 8c
Hero checks
Villain 1 checks, Villain 2 bets 1/2 pot, 10 into 21
Hero calls, Villain 1 folds
Turn comes 9d
Hero bets ~pot, 40 into 41
Villain raises all in
Hero folds
Villain shows AhTd

Is this a good fold enough of the time? was my turn bet awful?

I believe that oop with this hand a call isn't too bad, but be wary that you will be out of position against two what you describe to be "tough" players with a very mediocre hand. I personally would fold and wait for a much stronger hand which plays well multiway if i was to be out of position, either that or be IN position with holdings like QJo.

As played, i personally would 100% raise the flop(~$40 to $50 mark). Way too many flush draws/straight draws like KT. However, as played you called and once that turn came out your top 2 may as well be 44 given the potential range of hands your opponents have that contain a T in them. I'd check fold turn and wait for a better spot against these donkeys. You're up against an undefined range so whether they have a Tx/27o/AA/66 you have no idea, just a tough spot to be in but all comes back down to being out of position with a mediocre hand. Turn lead is unnecessary, flop lead has more merit.

As played:

Flop: Raise here. There's ton of value from KQ, AQ, AJ, KJ, FD's, QT, KT, 97s. There are just a ton of hands that pay us off and that shut down or move ahead if the turn is a T, 9, or a

Turn: What were you hoping to do with the pot sized bet on the turn? Your bets should accomplish something. If you're betting for value I just dont see a c/c flop, donk bet pot turn really doing much to get worse hands to call. If you're trying to see where you're at (are we still ahead) a much smaller bet like 1/2 pot is much more reasonable. Given all of that, I would probably c/c turn depending on the villain, but about 75-80% of the time I would call and re-evaluate on the river.

How deep are you?

Flop: raise to like 40

Turn: As played, I actually don't mind betting/folding like 1/2-2/3 pot if you think he's likely to check behind a lot of hands with SDV. If they're really that loose and just trying to have fun, then they'll have all kinds of random hands that will end up calling turn. Potting it is probably too big though.

Fold preflop. QJo is too weak to be calling with from the SB, which should be our tightest spot on the table.

On the flop, checking is fine, but it should be with the intention of c/r. That board is super draw heavy, so we want to charge. Our hand strength is also well disguised by the number of draws and combo draws we could have here.

I don't really understand leading the turn when it comes one of the worst cards for us. Are you betting here as a bluff?

As played, fold.

Lastly, please don't post the results of your hand in the post. It taints the analysis you'll receive.
