1/2 NL

V1: Minimal history, but from watching him play he is aggro and spewy. Usually plays 2/5 or deep PLO games. Effective with about $200.

V2: Never played a hand against him but from the hands that I've watched him play he seems to be loose and passive. He's been running good....he came to the table with $60 and now sits at around $500

Hero: Standard TAG...maybe even a little nittier than most TAGs. ABC this session for the most part taking standard betting lines. I've only played one big pot this session which may be viewed as laggy. I was on the BTN and flat a $15 open from an aggro fish and three callers with J7hh and flop J68hh. Fish leads $50 with one caller and we jam $180, both call. We get there on the river with Kh and ship the pot. Hero's stack is around $600

We check our option after 6 players limp with Jc9c.

Flop: Ad Jd 9s ($12)
We lead $10 and V1 and V2 flat. 3 way to the turn.

Turn: 3h ($42)
We lead $30- V1 raises to $75 very quickly and V2 calls in stride.

Where are we here? Should we have checked flop? Turn?

By spewy and aggro, do you mean V1 can fire multiple barrels. No point in reraising turn against two villains here and I think your hand is too strong to fold with those good of pot odds. Flat turn and fold to aggression from V2. Whether you check fold or check call river against V1 depends on the card and whether he will bluff river often enough. I think V2 either has you crushed or has a draw with lots of equity. He might have AK, AQ too however unlikely. V1 most likely has some draw or two pairs+

I'd really like to know from what positions V1 and V2 limped from???

We have two blockers against aces up and it is doubtful the turn helped an Ax hand (again, positions of V1 and V2 would be helpful).

I find at this level plenty of villains will limp AK, AQ, AJ, and AT type hands and over play them in spots like this. Obviously we get owned by AJ and A9 but since we have two blockers against aces up on a wet board I feel okay about our hand. Or put another way, there are plenty of lesser hands that we beat that can raise us on this turn.

I'm fine flatting the turn raise and calling most pot sized river bets on non- rivers. SO river is going to be a c/c. Obviously if we get counterfeited on the river we fold. Likewise if a hits we fold.

It is hands like this that caused Mark Twain to write, "Learning how to play 2 pair is as expensive as a college education. And just as valuable."

With the turn, you've run out of room for maneuvering. The only question at this point are whether you are folding to a PSB on a non-diamond river? If the answer is yes, then fold on the turn. If no, I'd raise and get it in if shoved over. A pot sized bet is $265 and you have an effective stack of $415 against V2 and $115 against V1 with a call. If either of them is playing a FD, you won't get paid on the river if it misses. You will get paid now. It is hard for players to give up TP on the turn because in the back of their mind they are thinking they can still get lucky and win. They can't on the river.

I like the flop lead and I like the turn lead. Now it's ok to just call and play the river as a x/c. I really don't like folding. The raise from V to 75 is a bit scary but our hand is too strong to fold right now, as for the flat by V I am not too worried about that because he has played his hand passively to this point so I think his hand is most likely a weak Ax or a draw (QT T8)

Position of villains: V1 is UTG +1 and V2 is directly to his left.

We do continue in the hand and flat the raise. The river is Qc. We check and V1 jams $99 to which V2 snap calls. Yuck.

Vs could have been one of many draws on the flop.

Some straight draws get there on the river, but all flush draws missed. The pot is $267 on the river, and $465 when action gets back to you. You are getting pretty damn good odds to call this down with two pair just by the math.

Add in that it is a limped pot, and you said both Vs are pretty loose, I think this is an automatic call.

Yuck gross river spot. I think you played it well. I like a flat on the turn and eval riv. Once V1 ships and the passive guy snaps I fold and save the $100. You should rarely be good at this point
