Turning KK into a bluff - 2/5 Turning KK into a bluff - 2/5

Villain is an ok asian rec, doesnt get too out of line and a pretty abc player.
OTTH

Effective stacks - $700 - 2/5

UTG limps and folds to villain who raises to 20. Folds to hero in SB who raises to $70 with KKhc, only Villain calls.

Flop: J64rddx - $147

Hero c-bets 60, villain calls.

Turn: Qd - $267

Hero check calls villains $160 bet.

River: Ad - $587

Hero bets $450 putting villain all in. Thoughts?

My thought process was this is one of the worst hands im getting to the river with. I credibly rep Kd with hands like KK (with d), AxKd and i think its hard for villain to have a good flush here, only K10dd and 1010dx.

I would b/f the turn (x/f river if called). You can kinda rep K here so it’s not the worst spot to bluff. He’s got plenty of flushes but in theory he should lay most of them down to this line.

Bluffs without blockers are always tricky but your line at least makes sense here.

Interesting spot. I think you can definitely rep the Kd here and it's very hard for villain to have the Kd unless he has exactly KdJx.

I like this bluff.

+1 to b/f turn and x/f river if he calls. On this specific river if he had called turn jamming river is fine

Bluff here isnt bad because the Ad Qd and Jd are out there, so he cant really have much

I like it. Tough for anything but Kd or Td to call you.

I agree with b/f turn. Giving up initiative is pretty bad in this spot as you have no idea where you are when you c/c.

An I the only one who bets more both pre and on the flop? As played I’m betting like $100-$125 on this flop. Charge the draw. But being out of position for the hand, preflop I’m raising up to $85, $90ish.

I like this bluff against this villian. Obviously very few Kd in his range that take this line and you can credibly rep it. The only nutted hand I can see him getting to the river with is exactly KTdd.

I think this has to be villian specific though. PLENTY of LLSNL players will call with a much lower flush because they get married to it. I also see the fish calling here with sets quite often. Against a somewhat concious ABC player I like this bluff a lot.

As others have said, larger pre, larger flop.
