Villain is not a good player. Seems to overvalue hands and sometimes will put in large amounts with just 1 pair. Pretty loose passive. $525

5/5, 525 effective
Villain limps utg
Hero raises kj in mp to $25
3 calls
Villain calls

Flop $110
T97
Checks around

Turn $110
T97Q
Villain bets $50, hero?

I have a hand that could possibly be drawing dead, but is also fairly strong but very vulnerable. My guess is this guy is getting all $500 in on the turn with 2pair and better.
If we were shallower or deeper raising seems best but stack sizes seem awkward here so not sure what is best.

I'd just call, it's the low variance option.

Sure, you could get value from 2p or sets but you also risk putting money in drawing dead. I doubt the former makes up for the latter.

See how he handles the river. I don't think this is a spot where you *want* to get stacks in since a loose-passive fish has tons of flushes in his limp/call range.

Ez call, he could be value betting worse easily and you're getting a great price

Gotta call I guess although pretty meh 5 ways with 3 behind us. Shouldn't be many flushes.

Ya the decision is really between raising and calling. Wasnt considering folding at all

Agree on call. No sense in value owning yourself. If you raise it almost has to be b/f so what’s the point?

if he's truly loose passive, he won't come over the top if we raise unless he has the flush.

What's wrong with 3 betting to $125 to iso the fishy player? If he 4bets, we're almost always beat and can make an easy fold.
