NL 1/2
Hero is at 300. Hero has been at the table for an hour. Villain 1 is a 35 yo BG whose VPIP is around 70. His standard raise is 20. He seems like a nice guy who wants to gamble. He's changed the table dynamic and lots of guys are making stands. He's at 350 now. Hero has seen him but never played with him in the past.
Villain 2 is a 75 yo WG who has not played like an OMC. Hero doesn't know him. Before the flop bet here, he's been pretty aggressive with his bets/raises and has a VPIP around 40. He's got 100 or so at the start of the hand.
Hero is in the SB with J10
Villain 2 opens for 6 bucks. I do not understand these raises but that's my game.
MP calls.
Villain 1 calls on the button.
Hero completes in the SB.
BB calls.
POT $30
FLOP Q10A
Hero has a gutshot and isn't too enthused. I check, BB checks.
Villain 2 bets 5 bucks...very strange.
MP folds. Villain 1 just calls. Usually he'd reraise here and that may be why Villain 2 bet 5 as inducement, but he calls.
Hero doesn't want to fold for 5. He calls looking for a king.
BB folds.
POT $45
Turn K
Hero bets $25.
Villain 1 calls.
Villain 2 raises to 100.
Hero?????????
I actually embarrassed myself by taking so long with this decision. I feel like I'm up against another Jack and against a flush draw. Call the 90 or shove?

Just shove now. V1 looks like a heart draw -- make him pay.

My first thought was to call, but I realized there were so many river cards that I'd hate I wanted to get it in with the best of it.

If you do anything but fold after the raise it looks super strong, you can't disguise your hand here. Plus it's likely one of the villains is on a flush draw. So there is no real reason to slow play and the only sensible raise is all in.

Since you have a Jack blocker, chances are minimized that he has a J also....but, experience tells me V2's got the J here all day. What else is he raising with, other than 2 pair? V2 is already all in, so I'd call the turn and hope to stack V1 as well.

The villains and positions don't really line up anymore. It doesn't matter much though. I would snap jam this turn. By calling you're borderline pricing him in. I'd rather give him a chance to make a clearly -ev call, rather than give him implied odds to chase to the river.

Don't worry about not understanding their small bets. Many people suck at betsizing in this game. It's what makes it so profitable. If you get to show down the hand, you can pick up sizing tells. Even if they have no sizing tells, just play your hands according to the price you are getting.

Yeah I ended up shoving but sat there for 60 seconds like Hamlet with an inability to know what to do. It was a chop on a non-heart river. Villain 1 had J3 offsuit and Villain 2 had KJ of hearts which was hanging over the hand like a dagger!
