We normally have the best hand at turn. If he had QT, don't worry about getting stacked since he is making a bad call with QT preflop OOP vs a big raise. Your preflop raise effectively lowered the SPR to <8 and with AA overpair, u are commited at flop and with a set of A, ur pot commitment doesn't changes.

As such, my target should be to look at which line I am able to get him commit his whole stack. Since I am commited regardless or whatever cards fall on the river, I would simply call turn to allow him to make another bet which I would then shove all in.

You are only crushed by QT and you shouldn't let this though affect ur willingness to go all in. There are lots or other hands that he will hang himself with.

Grunch. Edit: Fixed some math too.

This is the type of board that I would raise with a set of aces unless you think that he's going to fold aces-up.

Once the hero "calls the 85", there will be $320 in the pot and effective stacks of $245 [$400 - ($25 + $45 + $85)]. Even if the hero shoves here, the villain's getting over 7:3 ($565:$245) on his money.

The hero could also raise $100 here and then bet $145 on the river if the hero believes the villain won't see these as suck bets.

This is also a hand where position is beneficial. If the hero flats, a blank comes on the turn, and the villain fires $100, a shove by the hero would give the villain $665:$145, or over 9:2 on his money.

I think I like the raise $100 more, ship river play better though. If the villain has QT, you pay him off.
