Hero ($400): Mid 20s playing TAG. Showing down strong hands but mostly on the sidelines.

V ($200): 60s woman. Nice lady but only putting money into the pot with nutty hands. Have seen her soft play AA by limp/calling down.

Hand V is in the HJ and limps and there are 2 other limpers to me in the BB with 95. I check.

Flop ($8): Q99

SB checks, I lead for $10, person between me and V calls, V calls.

Turn ($38): 5

I bet $20. Folds to V who min-raises me to $40.

Hero?

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I think too much aggression from you folds out worse hands. I also think she shows up with hands like AA/KK here.

So I would call and bet river for like $50, and probably fold to a shove from her. I'm not too sure about this line, so other people should feel free to tell me I'm wrong

This is a clear reraise. I think I'd reraise tiny, to $65. Min raises on turn are player dependent. It's often monsters (trips+ on this board) but some people raise here with KQ, AQ, QJ to find out where they're at and get hero to slow down. Reraising tiny keeps in those hands. Shove any river and hope she has 9x.

Problem with flatting is you have to overbet river to get stacks in and nits check behind trips a lot on river if you try to CR

Folding is beyond terrible. The only hands we lose to are 3 combos of QQ and 3 of Q9. Thing is the Q9 has to be Q9o. She in in late position so her limp range can be wider. If we put Q9o into her range, we have to put in 12 combos total of A9, K9, J9.

We beat 1 combo of A9s, 1 of K9s, 1 of J9s, 1 of T9s, 1 of 98s, 1 of 97s. So already if she is fairly tight pre, and her range is QQ, and suited 9x connectors, we are 66% favorite on river

It sucks if she has QQ/Q9 here bro, but considering that she previously played her overpairs(AA) so passively, I think we have to reraise turn and shove river. I'd prob make it 75 on turn(and call if she shoves) and shove river if she calls. It sucks to lose to a bigger full house, but in this spot it's just a cooler imo.

We can NEVER fold in this spot for <100BB.

We should be working at getting our $$ in 100% of the time against this type of V, if she wakes up with QQ or Q9, GGYL.

You hit the limpers pot of gold, as such don't fold.

$85/shove river, easy game. Sucks if you got coolered, but she should have any 9x often enough.

I jammed, she tank called with Q9.

Was my line fine though?

Yeah, sorry you got coolered man. If V had more $ behind it could be a mistake but with 100bb effective it's fine.
