Hey guys, I've been thinking through some strategy and I would appreciate some feedback. Say you are in EP on the turn with a straight draw on a board with a flush draw, and you are heads up against a villain who made a min raise on the flop and a less than half size bet on the turn, presumably representing a weak top pair type hand. I have read and heard on a training site that a check raise here would be a good play, because the lack of real strength of the villain's hand gives you good fold equity. But what about just check calling in this situation? That way you can get more value for your hand if you do hit (because a straight hitting on a flush draw board is more concealed), and if you miss on the river you can still put pressure on his marginal hand and have the same fold equity.

Is my thinking flawed here? And, if so, why?

Thanks in advance.
