Trapped with my Q,J suited on my last hand of the night Trapped with my Q,J suited on my last hand of the night

A live 2-5 game. My stack was $1,330
It was a straddle pot.
I was UTG and I look down at Q,J of hearts.
I limp.
3 other behind me limp as well.
The SB raises it to $70.
BB and straddler fold.
I call with the thought of perhaps enticing some of the 3 behind me to call as well.
They all fold though.
We go heads up to Flop
Q,J,K rainbow
Opponents stack is $500 to start the hand
He leads into me for $120
I call.
Turn is a blank
He fires all in for $307
I reluctantly call
River blanks.
He turns over a set of Ks
I lose.

Tell me what I could have done better, and if it is a right play to try to "entice" callers behind me with mediocre hands, thanks.

Don’t limp UTG. Respect the SB preflop raise.

I would open pre instead of limping. Other than that, you played it pretty perfectly.

Any reads on SB? That's a huge preflop raise even with the limpers.

It would be my preference to either just fold to this huge bet or open raise ourselves from UTG, letting us comfortably fold to his 3!

the thread title says it all

you looked down at toilet paper and instead of flushing it
you flushed 500 in chips

muck
rack up
leave

you need one last degen fix buy a scratch card or keno ticket

Yes. I really like this line, thanks.

Haha I like this. Good humor and good advice. If it was a real passive game, maybe I could get behind a limp, but gotta fold to the raise to $70. I do consider the concept if enticing people to call behind me, but this size is too large to try and do that imo.

The raise to $70 after a bunch of limpers is pretty standard sizing btw.

Yeah ez fold or raise pre. How can we play QJs profitably out of position without initiative? Smh

Ya this is not a bad spot to limp-reraise to balance our range if stacks are deeper, but the first major mistake was calling with V w/ only 500 behind in a bloated straddled pot. AP, you're never getting away now given SPR.

If it's your last orbit, don't play anything other than QQ+ unless you're prepared to unrack and keep playing. Fold pre twice.

Open pf don't limp. Fold to sb 3 bet. As
played call, call is correct.
