Does anybody here keep records of live hands played? How do you do it? I've been curious about how often my cbets are getting through 1, 2, or 3+ other players, how often I call river with worst hand, how often my bigger bluffs are working in different situations, etc. I've been thinking maybe I can come up with a short hand notation that I can quickly tap out on my phone, but actually entering in all the positions, bet sizes, exact cards, player types - seems like it would be really distracting from the game. A pen and small notebook would be ideal, but I don't think I want to give off such a serious image at LLSNL...

Had a similar sorta thread within the last week or so, although I think it was more to do with tracking player reads, but main idea is the same... maybe do a search over the last week+.

Here's what you do:

When you buy in, make sure to get 2 empty racks and a full rack of $1 chips.

Each place in the rack is each player - So you'd have 1 extra place in a 9 player table. (You can use the 10th place to track how much tips you give dealers). Then you add in a chip to each player every time they raise. Raises go in the front, VPIP in the back, and fold to cbet goes in the middle.

You might need to stack multiple racks for more stats but that's the best, most accurate way to do it. You can also get bigger chips for different stats as well.
