1/1 cash game, 6 handed. Hero has about a $200 stack, villain in the BB at about $100. Leading up to this hand, V has been showing small signs of tilt after some bad suck outs.

I look down at AJ preflop on the BTN. CO limps, hero raises to $10. SB, BB (V), and CO call and we see a flop.

Pot ($40)

910J

It checks to me and I bet $25. Folds to V in the BB who shoves for remaining stack of $80. CO folds. Hero?

Don't c bet the flop, AP I probably call and hate it because too much is committed and we likely aren't drawing dead besides BDFD

I'm OK with the c-bet once it checks around, but I'd like to know more about CO and SB first, although they are moot now. As played, easy call vs. possible tilted BB. He could have a ton of draws and we have outs vs. two pair. If he has a straight or set, so be it (we can still go runner/runner to win or chop ).

Interesting. I don't think I'm ever c betting this flop. This is one of, if not the worst rainbow flop we can see.

Call. You’ve got a BDFD plus outs against 2 pair if you’re behind, the board is ultra drawy and he could easily be semibluffing.

You’re getting over 2.5:1 from the pot.

At nearly 3:1 ($55 into $145) I think i’m Calling. V could have lots of pair + draw that H is well ahead of. The BDFD helps too, and a little for the BDSD, and then the BDRFD - calling 100% here against slightly tilts V.

It depends a lot on our opponents, whom we know nothing about except for tilted BB. However, once it checks around, I'm fine with betting. We have top pair and a BDFD. If someone deeper and more competent check/shoves, we can fold (depending on reads), but I don't want to give them a free card and I want them calling with draws, pairs, etc.
