Hero is upper 20s, white, dressed well, and just sat down. Villain is 50ish, has a big stack, but doesn't give off an OMC vibe at all. Has ~$600.

1/2 NL. Effective stacks $200. Villain straddles to $5. Hero raises to $20 utg with AQss. SB and villain call. Flop ($63) QJ9r, no spade. Checks to hero who bets $50. SB folds. Villain makes it $100. Hero?

probably just let it go. Tons of 2 pair hands in his range. He is more likely to smooth call with QT, JT, 9T kinds of hands. KQ is a possibility but it is pretty much the only hand you are in really good shape against.

Fold. 9T and JT are flipping against us. We are way behind his range here.

What is "OMC"?

SPR is about 3 against two other villians and we flop TPTK on a flop that hits a villians calling range hard. We have $180 and we bet out $50 to put 35% of our stack in. I don't like cbetting this much unless we are going with the hand. I would much rather check this flop for pot control and stay under the commitment threshold.

As played...we are check raised for a decisions for our whole stack. Villians range here looks like two pair, a pair and an OESD (J8, 98, QT, JT) or the nuts with KT. I don't want to play for stacks with TPTK on this flop, just fold.

I'd consider folding pre, it's borderline.

AP, call the 50, re-eval on turn.

folding pre is absolutely terrible. AQss is in the top 3% of all starting hands. Don't open fold it.'

Also, calling the flop raise is ridiculous. We are so crushed here, it's not even funny. Best case scenario, we're up against TT, which still has a 38% chance of winning the hand.

As stated before, a hand as weak as 9T is 45% to win against AQ. When the bottom of someone's range is like 38-45% against our hand, it's usually a good idea to fold.

Even if we put hands like Q7o in his range, we're still losing pretty badly to his total range of hands.

AQss being borderline is pretty funny. Folding pre is hilarious. Agree with folding to minraise for the same reasons stated above
