Villain 1: Utg/straddler moved to table from different table with ab $300, he lost a big pot an orbit ago to a rivered 2pair vs his KK. Seems competent but good be tilting/chasing. $180

Hero MP: mid 20s playing solid haven't played any hands with villain 1. I'm pretty fit or fold, but have picked up some uncontested pots as table is pretty weak except for 2 players. $400

Villain 2: CO, he is in his mid 40s knows what he's doing I value owned him earlier with my AJ top pair vs his Ace rag when he didn't fold. $105

V1 straddles and folds to hero who raises to $12 with AKxx. V2 calls and folds to straddler who calls.

POT $39- Flop comes Ah9d4h V1 checks hero bets $27. V2 looks like he wants to shove but pulls back and just calls. V1 pretty quickly shoves his remaining $168.

Is this a snap call vs said villain? V2 has less than V1 but looks like money is getting in. Is folding to see and make note ever a good choice against this type of villain?

Thanks ahead of time. Seemed like an interesting spot

what was V2 ace rag vs your AJ hand? I looks like V2 has alot of ax in his hand. looks standard

Standard fold. Try raising ~25$ preflop to a straddle with AKo next time

Really? Even based off villain? And $25 open? I mean that's 6.25x? Seems a bit large? What's his calling my open range? 22-77? AX? Complete air? I mean don't we just kill his range? But I posted for opinions so thanks, just want some more thought than standard fold?

This is not at all a standard fold. I think it's closer to a call if you think he can shove a flush draw or AK-AQ here.

Pre-flop raise is too small. I wouldn't raise to 25 with no other callers but 16-18 is about right.

As played its a cursing shove.
