TPGK: how to maximise value? TPGK: how to maximise value?

Button is seat 4. I am seat 8. 1/1GBP NLH. Eight handed
Hero has 350 and covers table. Villain in SB has about 200. Villain is loose passive. Calls too much preflop and on draws, but will fold draws eventually.

Some history: Hand where hero won most of his stack: 1/1 blinds, and 3 straddle. UTG calls 3. UTG+1 (Villain) makes it 15. One call. Hero to 55 with Aces. Villain calls, other guy calls. Pot 160-170. Flop Kd8d3x. Villain bets 20. Other guy all in for 100. I jam 150 total. Villain passes (says he had a PP and wanted to see where he was). Other guy misses diamond draw (I had ranged him on diamonds or maybe set of 8's as he overplayed many draws).

And another hand: Hero with AQo raises pre to 12 and gets called by villain and another guy. Flop QJx with flush draw. Checked to hero. Hero bets 25 into 40. Call, call. Turn blank. Hero bets 55. Villain folds. Other guy calls all in for about 20 with T9o and hits K on river. (I was trying to bet enough to get them to call incorrectly with draws, and it worked)

Onto the hand.
Villain posts SB 1. Seat 6 BB 1. Seat 7: 3 straddle. Hero makes it 12 with AQo. Villain calls, all others fold.
Flop A73 rainbow. Pot=28. Villain tank checks, hero bets 15 and is called.
Turn 7 making two hearts (H has no hearts). tank Check, check.
River J. tank Check, Hero bets 30. Villain... will reveal afterwards what he did and results, so as not to bais responses.

I'd appreciate comments on all streets, particularly on bet sizing. My thinking was: Preflop, raise pot to stop the call train, and hope to get called by 1-2 worse hands. Flop quite dry, and villain not capable of bluffing, so bet half pot for value. Turn: WAWB situation and I don't think I get three streets of value. River, I am near-certain I'm ahead and want to get a call.

All players at table were TERRIBLE (I stacked the loose agro guy, and most of the rest were loose-passive), and I was getting good cards (in fact I busted out three people in the four hour session). So I want to make sure I am playing the best way to maximise my value bets, and not leave money on the table when they want to give it away.

Really appreciate advice here. I know it's not the most exciting hand, but this is the sort of hand where we often make our money!

I'm bet/folding 2/3rd's pot on all streets against this villain. I think you missed value by not betting the turn. As played I'm betting $45 on the river, again if villain raises I'm folding.

Ideally, I think value betting on all streets is best against loose/passive players..even if you value-own yourself some portion of the time (which obviously happens). Why do you think you couldn't get three streets of value against him? These players are payoff wizards and his calling range includes so many hands worse than yours.
In this specific spot, I definitely bet the flop ($20) and turn ($45-$55ish) and probably check back river just in case he shows up with AK 7x or spiked AJ. Furthermore, since you said he's not capable of bluffing/bluff-raising then it's easy to get out if he does take an aggressive line bc 99% of the time he will be nutted or 2nd nutted. These are the most profitable players to play against!

Hey

On one of the posted hands he called flop but passed turn with flush draw in a similar situation. So I was thinking to get two streets of value I should bet check bet. I should definitely bet more than half pot though, as you guys say. I was worried betting turn looks too strong if he had a pocket pair or bad ace. So not sure about betting turn, but you guys think I was wrong there. Agree it's a fold to a raise. Interested to hear different opinions.
