You could think of it that way or you could think of it like this:
People will call me much lighter when Im ahead and I lose less when Im bluffing and they have a made hand that they were going to call with anyway.
Betting 1/2 pot on most flops instead of 3/4 to full pot could be better or worse depending on the situation. Im doing this as an experiment after a 2+2er sent me a link to an article on CardPlayer which was about this exact thing. Its not like I made it up myself.
So far my thoughts are that it hasnt made much difference. It seems like Im getting just as many folds and just as many calls. So I would say the jury is still out on whether or not I will continue.
