2/5. V is extremely wide pre, in both raising and calling. Been at table only an hour and he raises around 60% of hands. E.g., T9o from UTG. Haven't seen a lot of post-flop except he often folds (as would be expected). $280 eff. (hero).
Hero raises JTss MP2 and V calls BTN.
Flop ($30): JT9ccc. Hero bets $20, V raises to $80. Hero?
you should be carefull on that flop, top 2 pair is a really thin bet and plays really bad if you get raised, thats why you should check and check most of your range on that board
You're playing 2/5 and have sub-300 in your stack. GII on flop and if he has a straight w/e, your stack sizes and open w JT from MP make it impossible to fold here.
Yeah, raising JsTs from early position with a 56bb stack is terrible. Are you going to fold if you're 3-bet? No reason to put in 6-7% of your stack and risk getting raised off the hand.
Agree with everyone, shove and hope for the best. You could be ahead, and you have outs if you're behind, unless V has a straight flush.....but I would expect V to just flat call that hand.
