Hi guys, I wanted to see some thoughts on this hand from last night.
This was around 10pm on a Monday night and was an extremely low action table. Everyone playing very passively, I was essentially the only one raising pre flop and any c-bets would usually take down the pot.

The villain in this hand is a WG in his 30s, who is the only other semi active player at the table he has raised pre maybe twice in about two hours or so. Haven’t seen him get out of line, played one big hand with him earlier where my straight beat his two pair.

Hero likely has an aggressive image at this point. I have been seeing a lot of flops and betting a good percentage of them because its folding around so often. Not sure if this really impacted this hand, but V may see me as a little looser than I am actually being.

H (325) Open to 15 with Black Queens from EP and V (Covers) calls from the cut off and the blinds fold

Pot (33) Flop comes Q 10 9 rainbow

I check, he bets 30, I call

Turn (93) Qx 10x 9c 7c

I check again, he bets 70
Hero (?) ..

Playing in a passive game vs a passive opponent who may perceive you as being over aggressive I have no idea why you checked this flop to let all his Tx, 9x, straight draw hands check back.

He obviously has a piece of it and we have no reason to suspect he's going to fire a 3 barrell bluff or thin value bet the river so as played I would put it all in now.

just c-bet the flop. This is not a board you should slowplay on. There are so many hands that villain will continue with that are drawing slim. By betting, you get to control the amount of the bet and make sure a bet goes in on each street.

As played, I would jam all in on the turn over his raise. It's about 215 more into a pot of 230 so is a reasonable shove. You can get called by two pair and combo draws.

Slowplaying this board is really bad IMO. In fact, you want to bet and hope he raises so you can 3!. You potentially lost a ton of value by checking.

AP, I think I am just CRAI OTT. If he has KJ/J8 then we can fill.

Thanks guys. Seems like its pretty unanimous here so ill post results/thoughts. I did CRAI on the turn and got snapped by the KJ. Seems like I made the right play on the turn as played, but the mistake was not betting the flop.

In the end it wouldn't have changed this hand as he flopped the nuts but definitely looking to lead on this board.
