Table dynamics: very passive and tight pre flop. This card room opens at 10am and this is the first table to open (around 11am) 1/3nl. Mostly older guys looking to have a good time.

Hero- only been at table for 1 orbit and is sitting with starting stack (300) hasn't played a pot. Early 20s w a hoodie and flat brim hat.

V- older white make (45-50yrs old) Herp has played with him before but not sure if V remembers. V is extremely TAG. I have maybe played 10 hrs w V and every pot he has opened he has gone to showdown. Opens a strong range and plays it very aggro.he has about 200

V opens to 15 in MP. Folded to hero otb who calls w QThh, blinds fold.

Flop (35) T74 rainbow. V bets 30 and hero calls.

Turn (95) T743 rainbow. V shoves very quickly for ~150..........

I think Vs range is very wide here. AK AQ AJ AT KQ KJ KT QJ 99 88. I don't think V does this with his bests hands (TT 77 44 33 AA KK QQ JJ).

What's the play?

1) Download poker stove.
2) Answer your own range question.

3) Your range is wrong. Period. I will just tell you that.
4)
Board: Tc 7d 4h 3s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 82.371% 82.37% 00.00% 1341 0.00 { QhTh }
Hand 1: 17.629% 17.63% 00.00% 287 0.00 { 99-88, ATs+, KTs+, QJs }

Call.

5) Get a new range, and lets try again:
Board: Tc 7d 4h 3s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 41.705% 41.70% 00.00% 734 0.00 { QhTh }
Hand 1: 58.295% 58.30% 00.00% 1026 0.00 { QQ+, TT-88, AKs, ATs, KTs, 65s }

It's closer to his actual range, still a call here.

6)
Board: Tc 7d 4h 3s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 32.219% 32.22% 00.00% 482 0.00 { QhTh }
Hand 1: 67.781% 67.78% 00.00% 1014 0.00 { QQ+, TT, 88, AKs, ATs, KTs, 65s }

This one feels like most likely for me.
And to be honest, I think 88/AKs is in there just as a 'bluff' factor, but I'm not sure how much he it really bluffing here.

We essentially can't trust your range because it's just so impossible. But try to play around with these things and see what you get when you put some range into Poker Stove.

Spoiler:
I think this a fold. But if you REALLY think that he never does this with his best hands...
Board: Tc 7d 4h 3s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 75.909% 75.91% 00.00% 668 0.00 { QhTh }
Hand 1: 24.091% 24.09% 00.00% 212 0.00 { 99-88, AKs, ATs, KTs }

He has no value hands in his shoving range you are telling us, so even if we give him just a few value hands, and a few bluffs, you are super far ahead, and getting almost 2:1 easy call.

Not to the best of my knowledge. But I believe there are other poker tools out there that can help. Search the web, or this website.

I think cardrunners has one that I've heard decent things about.

OK, I'm going to try to point out some logical errors. Not trying to be harsh, just pointing them out....

Bolded #1- Probably better get that looked at.

Bolded #2- Solid read. Let's stick with that for now.

Bolded #3- Calling IP is OK, but against that strong of a range QT is going to be very dominated most of the time, plus you're not likely to get to chase anything very cheaply so if you don't flop huge, you're not likely getting any further. At least not profitably. Note, huge does not include trips since you'll have kicker probs like always.

Bolded #4- Do you see how this completely contradicts #2? Yes, he goes firing with all guns blazing, but that's because he usually has TPMK destroyed.

Questions?

In short fold.

Folding to his shove. Strong TAG range from MP burns QTs here.
I don't like the call pre vs this guy because even on an ideal board like this, you're often behind and paying a huge price without initiative to find out. Not many times you get to float and steal a pot vs him either if he's that aggro with a tight range.

Would rather fold or occassionally even 3bet pre with some rag sc's or w/e.
