The game is 1/2 nl with a max buy in of 100. I am around 210 deep, Villian 1 covers and Villian 2 is 150 deep. Villian 1 is the only competent regular that I know who plays in this game. Villain 1 also views me as a solid regular in the game. He almost never spews and plays pretty tight. Villian 2 is a young kid who is really loose and aggressive.
Preflop: UTG folds, Villiain 2 limps, 2 folds, Villain 1 calls, 2 folds, Hero calls in SB with 5s6s, BB checks.
Flop: Ad 2h 3d ($9)
Action checks all the way around
Turn: 4s ($9)
Villain 2 checks, Villain 1 bets $8, folds to Hero who calls $8, Villain 2 check raises to $31, Villain 1 calls, Hero makes it $118 total, Villain 2 folds, Villain 1 tanks and calls.
River: 10d ($276)
Villain 1 goes all in, Hero calls all in for ~$80.
Villain 1 shows Ad5d and wins the pot.
My question is should I have just shoved all in on the turn? Did I price him in to call the turn or did I play the hand fine?

Dude, is he ever folding that hand? He's got the 2nd nuts and the NFD. If I'm him I'm never folding.

Id like to know how the Ad is on the flop and he is holding the Ad. I probably raise the first opportunity you have on the turn, the chance of villain calling behind with a flush draw is very high.

Nice freeroll. Call floor and declare his hand dead for having two Ad. Played perfectly imo since you can never lose.

I stick with my first post. Although you could of raised first or after it doesnt matter hes not folding and if the river is a brick hes getting all in anyway and you win.
You were unlucky, it happens.

Raise turn more. You want to not only give poor immediate odds to your opponent to call but also deny them any implied odds if they hit. As well you will get a call from any naked 5 so pump it up more. Something like 150 or just shove. When you raise smallish and leave yourself 80 behind you have to call any river. If you raised bigger or shoved and left yourself less behind you can call river with no regrets.

The turn action makes no sense as we are in the SB, yet get it folded around to us? We c/r? I lead turn. A 5 will raise for us and a FD is probably not betting/raising here.

Also op please read the faq, don't post results and don't be results oriented! Poker is a game of swings and we are the unwitting passengers.
