V1 and v2 have been playing pretty tight for the four hours I've been there. I'm pretty sure v1's opening range here is going to be like 77-TT and AQ/AJ but might also have QQ-AA (think he opens those to a larger sizing).

Hero has a very loose aggressive image and has been getting called down very light. I haven't been in a hand with v1 and I don't know if he's been paying attention though.

Villain opens from UTG+1 to $11. V2 calls the HJ, I opt to call with QTss in the CO and we take a flop.

Flop 662 two spades:

Pot$34

V1 continues for $15, fold, I make it $45 and he sort of tank calls.

Turn: Js

Pot:$124

Villain checks, hero bets $55 and villain calls. I opted for a small sizing for a few reasons:

I thought his range wasn't super strong based on his sizings. I also thought based on my image and his tank call on the flop his calling range wasn't that strong. I'm going to be targeting 77-99 and AK. As long as the river is a brick I think I can get another bet in.

Pot: $239

River 3s.

Villain checks. Villain has about $300 behind.

Thoughts on river? We lose to JJ and AK with a spade. We are probably getting called by 77-TT with a spade. I wouldn't be shocked if he has AA/KK/QQ but definitely not full combos.

Personally I don't see any tight or even non tight player calling with a hand you beat. Against a loose bad player I could maybe see 1/4 pot getting called but against tight players I think nothing pays you off. Cross your fingers and check because decent players don't call 4 flushes...on paired boards...with 6th best flush or worse.

I check behind. I don't think there is any value in betting. He should never be calling with worse.

I might go a little higher on turn, but I don't mind your reasoning and not so much higher that it makes too much of a difference.

The fact that you aren't sure what do to on this river tells me that you shouldve bet more on the turn. This is a great hand to give villain the chance to make a big mistake on the turn.

If he is the type that will call this river with 9s9x, then he would called more on the turn and he certainly isnt going to fold the river with a bigger spade than your Q. Check behind.

After the flop raise, you have to keep telling your story to cover for the times you bluff.

Bet turn for $75, shove all rivers that don't pair board/put a 4 flush out.

With a 4 flush or paired board, check behind on river. Betting small and getting shoved on destroys our equity, and only the worst Villains can call a large bet on this board without a hand that beats us.

Ok well I opted to check behind which felt really ****ty, in part because I made so little on the turn. I had made the conscious decision to use smaller sizings on these turn cards against these types of players after seeing people play really nitty when flush cards gets there. Unfortunately the 4th spade wasn't great. You can definitely argue for a larger sizing, but this sizing was a deliberate choice and something I wanted to experiment with.

Villain turned over 99 with the 9s.

I just felt like he had very few hands that would call turn and river that didn't have me beat. I thought I'm usually good here, but I didn't have enough value targets.

I prefer a 2/3rd psb [after the rake & tip] ott, which if $124 is correct, would be ~$80.00.
I might be getting more folds than you [which is bad] and am thinking of sizing down a tad to maybe 55% psb. I can't remember the last time a V called me ott with 9s9x type hand. It may be because they fold without showing.

bet a lol $75 on the river. I mean cmon if this guy has the nuts you really think he's going to check? Look how many of you are advocating to check behind, which means if villain is competent he knows you're going to check behind often, therefore he HAS to lead this river to get a crying call from you. There's no big hands that raise UTG and float to backdoor a flush. The only possible hand that would do this would be 66 in which case he x/r jams the river and you can fold.
