H is most likely considered TAG/NIT by the table. V is TAG, but might be calling more wide as he came from playing omaha. OTTH

Hand: AdKc
Stack: 400
Position: bb

Pre: V(roughly 300 stack) 7.5 from CO. Bu unknown calls. H 32.5. V call. Bu folds.
Flop (72.5) Ac5c7s: h 60. V call.
Turn (192.5) Js: h 100. V call.
River (392.5) 9c: H?

Bigger on turn/don't mind x-shove.

This is one of the worst possible rivers to barrel. What are you targeting with a value bet here? Especially because we'd have to shove? I don't think anything is calling you that we have beat.

On a side note, if anything, playing PLO would make him tighter, not looser of a post flop player...Hands like one pair in PLO are very very seldom good.

We could get a crying call from AQ, AT. Thats it basically.
As guy above said, the runout is pretty bad. We do have the NF blocker so he cant have KQs/QJs but theres still some draw combos that got there left.
I would check it over and hope for showdown. If hes that nitty he wont jam his weaker Aces so you can actually still let it go if he jams on you.

Although I do agree the spot is probavly not adequate for a third barrel, but isn't folding out of question as we are getting around 4:1 (V has only 100 left)?

If we do not intend to fold, we need to jam it in. However, there is still almost 200 behind, and I think it optimistic that villain will stack off with anyth8ng worse than us... maybe AQ.

I check/eval this river. Hoping for showdown on this one.

So villain has about $110 left on the river? I just don’t think he will have many, if any bluffs by then.

He open raised CO so less likely has 68s although it’s possible.
We have the nut flush blocker, so it’s more likely he has Ax, but unlikely A5, A7, or AJ, or sets as they would have probably raised before the river.

I feel like most low stakes players will check back all the hands you beat (and maybe even A9). They will shove most of the hands that beat you, but won’t have many, if any, bluffs.

So the question is will they call your 1/4 pot shove with AQ, AT, A8s, A6s, A2-A4s?
Probably.

(What currency were you playing that has 7.5 raise?)

Euros, blinds are 2.5 and 2.5 euros at the only casino in Helsinki, Finland where I play most of my games.

I was thinking if Vs range is capped given he didn't 4bet pre, but did call big bet OTF.

Results wise we check the river down, I show and take the pot. I ask whether he would have given me another hundred to which he said yes. I'm putting him most likely to AQ/KK.

LOL. PLO players are definitely more gambly and looser at NLHE. I should know I've never seen the opposite.

Just bet the river. I was going to say check/call, but V has so little left. I guess we can still check/call in hopes that V takes a stab with worse, but I doubt that will happen.

depends on how often to you think he could jam worse than AKo. Im thinking in cash game being pot comitted is not that much of a thing.

This is a 2 street hand due to V's stack size. You don't always need to bet "optimal" amounts and a slight over shove looks like you don't want a call / have a draw. Shove turn, as played put the rest in on the river.
