Late night weekend game

UTG and BB are both drunk and seem not very good at poker doing random stuff

I have seen UTG lead 3 streets with top pair KQ on Q637A board before

anyone like raising flop or turn? What about a thin river bet?

BB has $355
UTG has $650
Hero covers

UTG limps, Hero raises to $20 with AT in MP, BB calls, UTG calls

Flop is QJ9 ($60)

BB checks, UTG leads $35, Hero calls $35, BB calls $35

Turn is A ($165)

BB checks, UTG bets $70, Hero calls $70, BB calls $70

River is J ($375)

BB checks, UTG open folds (lol), Hero betting or checking?

I like a river bet against a drunk clueless guy.

Drunk people are usually calling stations and really don't fold. They really have no sense of bet size. I would go for 250-375 depending on how drunk the villain is

I don't think I'd go big. I'd make it $100. I think they do know bet size and will sigh fold to a big bet with a Q or weaker A.

Also, he's only got $230 left, so he might call a smaller bet knowing he still has money, but he might fold to an all-in bet.

Problem is if he shoves, can we fold? That would be gross.

Ouch. I don't think you can fold, unfortunately, but I'm not sure how you aren't beat. How drunk is he?

(I am calling.)

FWIW, I would have raised the flop or turn.

Holy **** GII flop. For value. They won't fold their (worse) draws.

Once we value bet river, folding is out of the question if V is as bad as you say (+drunk). x/r this river seems far too advanced for any hand that has us beat. If V has a monster he's risking a lot of EV by allowing us to check back Ax and other marginal hands that would call $100 or more (which is a lot of BBs at 1/3). I think Hero played it fine given reads. Single raised pot, V checked all three streets OOP and then raises river. I suspect we will get shown Jx a fair amount. But almost all Ax is chopping so it's easy to think a drunk mentality would jam his chop Ax rather than call. Once we add in any drunk spew / missed draw / low equity bluffs I think folding now is burning money. If V shows us KT or a boat+ then our read was way off. NH
