$1/2 NL (9 handed)

Table is very loose/passive and the level of poker is horrible. BU is relatively unknown to me. prolly like 30%VPIP and rather passive.

Hero is dealt T9 in CO, Hero covers

for the first time in ages, no limpers before my CO, itfolds to me, I open to 6$, BU (220$) calls, SB BB both fold

Flop($13) 9TA
Hero bets 9$, BU raises to 40$.
im thinking this is AT or A9, or even 99/TT (these guys only 3bet QQ+here even in BU vs CO openraises). However, Ive been watching too many doug pold videos lately and he always loves talking about blockers when analysing opponents ranges, so i put much less weight on AT,A9,99/TT in BU´s range. WTF does he have that I can continue against? maybe an OESD, although that seems far-fetched given how passive draws are being played. even nutflushdraw with overcards and OESD or so are a call for them. I end up remembering that these guys also love calling AJ-AK preflop, so I am hoping for that. but why does he raise the flop with that, its so unusual.

Question: if his range is 99,TT,A9,AT, AJ-AK, weighted towards AJ-AK because of my blockers, and maybe a 20% chance for a bluff/semibluff, is it okay to go broke here? and, very important, do i go broke on the flop by shoving or do i checkraise all-in turn? my thinking in these spots is generally that i want to keep the part of my opponents range in the hand that I beat, and therefore not shove flop, which could make him lay down AJ-AQ maybe even AK.
so i go for the turn checkraise all-in. my buddies tell me its better to shove flop because a lot of turn are bad for me, and even AJ-AK has so much equity vs bottom 2pair T9 here that I should shove and be happy with taking the 60$ right there. but i dont like that because while i am too lazy to work out the exact maths, i think that long-term I will get it in absolutely crushed vs villains calling range in at least 1/4 cases whereas in the other 3/4 cases i win only the 60$ flop, making this kind of -EV. ofc the situation looks better if villain calls my shoves with top pair, but are they that dumb? TPGK or even TPTK is never good here if I shove, do they realise that?

turn (93$): 5

Hero checks, BU bets 90$, Hero goes all-in for reasons explained above. i want to get as much action from AJ-AK as possible for hopefully overcompensating the times I am up against better 2pairs and sets.

River (442$): J

Villain showed AK

Either BU's bet sizings (6, 40, 90) are incorrect or his effective stack (120) is incorrect.

If his stack is indeed 120, I like a flop shove since BU is priced in with all his top pair type hands and bottom two pair is a vulnerable holding.

Well played by Hero. Occasionally I'll 3-bet flop with a really loose image.

We heavily block the value hands that beat us. I'm expecting most of his range is straight draws, some with picked up clubs.
