Hero ($250) - early 20s, TAG image, played about 2 orbits so far.

Villain ($550) - early 20s, just moved to the table from another table, has played against hero before, but no big hands against hero, says he respects hero's play. TAG, from the times I've seen him play he never gets too out of line, is probably a winning player in the game

1/2 NLH 9-handed

2 limps
Hero is in sb with AK raises to $11
Villain in bb calls
1 limper calls.
3-way to the flop

flop ($33):

AJ5

Hero bets $25
Villain min-raises to $50
limper folds.
Hero calls $25

Turn ($133):
8

Hero checks
Villain bets $100

hero?

Is this a standard spot for hero to gii with TPTK? Villain's line seems strong to me with the min raise otf and a huge bet ott. Also thoughts on bet sizing?

i'd raise more preflop.

you are oop and a couple of limpers. i'm going at least $15 here.

smells like he flopped a set of 5s or two pair.

If he doesn't get out of line, I'd just fold the flop.

If he isn't the type to make moves he's not raising you here without better than 1p. Either 2p, pair + combo draw, or a set. Esp with this sizing that says 'please stick around and give me value'

I'm guessing pocket 5's, AJ or a huge draw, like Qh10h/K10h's..

I don't think he's making a play here on that flop, when you were PFR. He's not doing with any A10 and doubt he's re-raising AQ here.

I have a young kid who likes to make plays against me, so I'm not sure if that's what he's doing? If he likes to make plays against you I think 3-bet, if not fold.

This. Villain has either AJ, 55, JJ, A5s or the unlikely AK. Fold turn for sure. Calling flop if you think there's any chance he's raising flop with a hand like AT, AQ to find out where he's at. Otherwise fold flop

Yeah I'd fold, I don't think he would play a draw this way - so probably one of the 3 hands mentioned above (jj/aj/55)

Don't flat his raise OTF without a plan. (Hint: a better one than call and re-evaluate the turn).

Oh how I love punishing the "where I'm at" fish

smells like a fold to me. pot's getting expensive and dangerous oop w just top pair. could probably get away with folding the flop

Spoiler:
Hero tanks for 30 seconds, finally folds. Villain shows A5

If villain were to bet around half pot so $65-$70 would anyone be more likely inclined to call?

Id' be more inclined to call, but still likely a fold.

Spoiler:
Was this a reverse HH where you had the A5 and wanted to know why your V folded AK?
