So been playing a 2/5 game where the max cap bet is 100 on all streets. Meaning no more than 100 goes in on any particular street so if someone bets 90 you can only raise it to 100 (10 on top) very weird structure but the rake is 10% capped at 8 and all the players are terrible (many of whom are playing at a casino for the first time) and many just max cap (I've seen this done blind) and they're playing like its bingo so I think its a very profitable game but since I only know nlh I'm having problems in a lot of spots.

Intuitively I realised that small pocket pairs and small suited connectors lose value, weaker broadway hands like QJo and KJo go up in value, I'm also guessing that bluffing is less of a thing here as well as polarization.

Also had a weird hand the other day which really made me think of the differences between spread and nlh.

I'm UTG with KK and having a really tight Image I make it 30, only other tight decent player UTG2 caps it to 100, everyone folds, I call. Flop is 558r, I x UTG2 caps I call, turn is brick I x UTG2 caps I call, river is A he x back and I take it down somehow (was genuinely considering folding turn here since his lines so strong and he was just snap betting which I've seen him do nutted).

Anyways after playing this hand I started thinking about how ranges would interact given the cap and realised we should probably have a donking range in similar spots as this? Also in this particular spot assuming ranges are very narrow, putting him on AA/KK/QQ/AK/AQs I was thinking that as hero we should be leading the flop for cap with AA and AK (for value and as a bluff/semi-bluff and also to get him off chops) I think KK calls 3 streets on almost all runouts (except maybe for a spot like this where ace hits riv and he bets again?). I thought JJ maybe x/f on turn and QQ calls off riv at a certain frequency (assuming brick riv). What do you think about this line of thinking?

Sorry I'm all over the place with this question just in a rush to head back to this juicy game and just trying to get some tips/pointers... Where can I find good spread limit strategy?

Blackhawk's cap is $100 per bet, not street, so if someone bets $90, you can make it $190. You're not limited to $10 more.

this isn't blackhawk, its the CNE in toronto, and yes that is the way the betting structure is, no more than 100 can go in on any street

Yeah, Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I wasn't correcting you. I was just explaining the difference between this format and the more common SL, including the one stumbras mentioned.
