We are in cutoff with 10-9 ep limper. We make it 55 straddle flats ep flats.

Flop 873

Our stack is like 650 to start. They check to us. What do you guys like doing here? Does making it 140 to set up turn jam have merit. Should we bet small like 65, or medium like 100.

We bet 95

Turn is the three

Not what we wanted.

Now with my flop size pots like 355 we have like 500 left which seems like to much to shove. So I just check turn and we missed river and he shoved into us and we had to fold. But how does everyone like. Making 130 on flop and shoving most turns?

I'm betting way smaller otf - I go $55. With my size/strategy I bomb the turn again because his range is so wide.

I don't use 2/3 flop size, but in your shoes I would shove turn.

$55 is really big even with a straddle in play. If $35/$40 is just going to invite people along then limp behind or fold.

Pot is around $180 on the flop. With 2 checks to you mix between a bet and a check. You flopped a good draw but this looks like a board that should miss your range and you have 2 opponents. Bet around 1/2 the time depending on opponents. If opponents are unknowns then check flop. If you do bet I like $100, get what what FE you can.

The key thing is the EP limper. If he is the kind who has lots of pairs and won't fold them on this board then take your free card on the flop. If he is a fish with a wide range despite limp/calling from EP then betting is better.

When the EP limper flat calls a flop bet you have a tough choice between going ahead and shoving or taking the free card. This gets back to knowing something about the EP limper. Depending on his range and play shoving could be good or bad.

Overbet jam turn on a card that’s way better for your range

Lower SPRs = smaller bets.

$95 is way too big.

Don't shove the turn.

Flop – I’d X a decent amount of the time multi-way since this board favors opponent ranges. Still, most of the time I’d bet, maybe 40% PSB. Builds a pot IP, allows us to continue semi-bluffing on favorable turns, and cleans up some over card equity.

Turn – let’s see the river. JJ+ unlikely and we block TT/99, so the EP flop call with the straddle behind should send an alert.
