Flop 6c 2c 6d...

Hero bets $65.....just button calls.

Turn 8h........Hero checks.....Villain bets 225 rather quickly.

Hero All in 405 total........

Thoughts on this line? Also is this a flop that we should be checking for pot control due to the number of players and the SPR? Thanks
I like everything about this. Flop is a bet.

I like it sort of...

-We don't block any parts of his value range w/KK so we can get called by worse like all pairs and few 8x if he has them maybe A8?

-Flop is a mandatory value bet MW i'd go like 80-90 OTF here, there is 120 in the pot OTF. Yes our bet sizing doesn't matter vs. draws because any FD + 2 overs is going to call regardless of sizing we just care about setting up for a x-jam OTT/bet-fold OTT or good SPR in general for turn + rivers. I think if we go a bit bigger OTF we can def x-jam OTT a lot of the time.

...
In regards to x-jamming on the 8 it's pretty villain/card specific... If villain is very agro and likely going to bet his entire range on the 8 then this is a perfect spot. If villain is going to bet all his weak FD's/drawing hands, thin value bets like 77/8x, as well as 99-QQ we have an easy x-jam vs. that range.

I like it vs. any other villain (it's not a spew at all), but the tight passive guy wow i think it's a close spot. Because i think this guy will... only bet stuff like the nuts like 6x/22 and then opt to x back a lot of his pair/SDV hands prolly never have a turn bluffing range after calling flop in this spot. His bet sizing seems to be polarized as well (nuts or bluff).
How are we doing against his bet/calling range OTT?

I'm bet/folding OTT vs. this said villain go half pot here maybe for protection/some value (checking all rivers if he calls). Bet/folding seems better vs. this villain given his low AFQ. I don't think we are inducing any bets/aggression from his other ranges to make x-jamming here profitable vs. this villain... we can still accomplish the same by betting.

This is not to say that you should fold, but I would probably call the turn and reevaluate the river.
Huh? His spr is like 1/4 if he calls turn... That's a terrible line. Looking for value against 10s,js,qs,fds- only in bad shape against a 6 or AA

Grunch.

I think the line is fine. The fact that he's thinking makes this probably the best line to take. He should be firing here a lot because our range has a lot of unpaired hands in it. If he has a 6, GG, that's gonna be pretty rare though.

I like the flop sizing. Pot is 120, and this is a pretty dry board, no reason to be betting a ton and pushing everyone out, plus having this sizing with KK allows us to use this sizing for unpaired hands

He goes almost psb with his bet, which is basically him trying to get you to fold IMO. Shoving is about the only thing you should ever do. He'll look you up a decent amount and then "I put you on AK..."

As far as checking flop, I wouldn't. 77+ will call here 100% of the time, no reason to give them a free chance to boat up and if an over and comes, they may fold, so you should get value from them while you can
