Hi guys played an interesting hand at a 2/5 table and would some feedback on the way I approached this hand.

Starting stacks:

Hero: 60BB
Villain: 100BB
SB: 70BB

I have been playing short stack (60 BB) lately and I have showed some significant profits utilizing this style as it suits my style of play very well.

Villain opens UTG for $15. Hero in the CO 3 bets to $50 holding 9 9. It is folded around to the SB who calls and Villain calls as well.

The flop comes: 5 6 2 $155 in pot

SB leads out for $15 and villain min-raises to $30.

I just sat down at this table so I have no info on SB but have played with Villain (UTG) in the past and he is a loose maniac who loves to gamble and make very thin calls chasing two outers and gut-shots. Now I just want to clarify that this is a very thin spot that I usually do not put myself in but given that I'm properly rolled and well cushioned I can afford to test different spots to help improve my game. My strategy pre-flop was to 3 bet and isolate Villain which unfortunately didn't work given that the SB called. With that being said and given the effective stacks, the board texture, the fact that many turn cards are a potential threat, and that neither villain has shown much strength (donk lead and min-raise) would you just stack off light in this spot?

Thanks for the feedback again guys!

I cant imagine 3 betting 99 here and not stacking off in this spot. Just bomb it.

Flat pre. If you're not comfortable stacking off here, then 3bettig pre doesn't make sense. Id flat and reevaluate.

Play very tight pre as a short stack. PPs and AJ+, KQ only

Grunch

You need to know more about what hands villains opens with UTG before you go 3 betting short stacked. I think I'm shipping as played but the 15 donk on the flop and the min raise by villain on that board 3 way is spastic.

If you're not prepared to stack off on this board, then flat preflop.

guess you could put a little donk raise in there like those guys are doing....$50-60?? lol gotta love those kinda tables, those actions are a little weird to analyze but based on your how you perceive them as loose id ship it there...if your beat your beat.....guess your hoping that one of them would call with a flush draw, overpair top pair, etc.

Shipping is kinda aggro.....only other option i would say is flat the $30.....see what the SB does....if he reraises the $30 to like $100 and the other guy calls or ships then you know more than likely one of them has you and you can fold on the flop....tough spot, but yeah i think 3 betting preflop was a mistake as well.
