First-time poster, long-time lurker.
$1/2 NL, $300 max buy-in on a Saturday night. This casino has the only poker room within a 100-mile radius and 1/2 is only game that ever runs, which (I believe) makes for a wider range of skill levels than most 1/2 player pools.
Hero early-30s Caucasian male, playing mostly TAG. Stack at $200.
Villain is early-20s Caucasian male, considered one of the room's more capable players. Will attack weakness pre- and post-flop, plays big hands fast and plays draws aggressively. He's on my immediate right. He had moved to the table from a collection of OMCs when the table opened and brought with him a stack of $375.
V limps UTG+1, Hero overlimps with 7

, limps follow from CO, BTN, SB and BB.
V's limp is never a big hand. He open limps enough that I would probably include small pairs in his EP limping range along with SCs and other speculative hands.
Flop ($12): 3

Blinds check, V bets $10, Hero calls, all others fold.
Hero may have the best hand right now, and there are a lot of good turn card possibilities.
Turn ($32): K
V bets $25, Hero calls.
One such good turn card. I think V's range, at this point, is a variety of 7s and 6s, straight draws, and sets. As for my hand, V is enough of a thinking player that I could see him doubting a backdoor flush, were it to come home.
I think the implied odds therefore make this a call?
River ($82): K
V thinks for 30 seconds, asks Hero how much he has behind, and slides $85 into the middle after another minute's thought.
Hero?
