What hands worse than yours did you expect to call a river bet?

Like I said, the river bet was terrible. There's really no hand he could have that he will bluff with either so check/fold looks obvious looking back.

just check the flop. This type of V plays face up. Because this V plays so face up he will check back all of his air and never steal from you, letting you get to showdown cheaply when your hand holds.

Just look at his preflop betsizing. He knows his hand is slightly "better than average" against 2 random hands, but he is scared to make a significant raise without having "big cards" so he just makes it a measly 10.

Leading flop isn't a huge mistake, but once you get called by this type of V your hand is complete garbage unimproved against your opponent's range.

But still, I like the leadout on the flop because he should be folding most of his hands on that flop.

As played, check/call everything up to 50ish. sucks if he turns over 9T.

that is a bit of a cooler. it is so rare that your heads up opponent is going to flop a flush draw on any random flop.

as far as the river goes. C/F > Bet/name your price >>>> C/Call his more expensive price.

The river bet is not nearly as big a debacle as you make it out to be.

His call on the turn is far worse than your river donk.
