Thanks for all the thoughtful responses. IRTM sorry for gettin on you, it's true my op is to blame for any misunderstanding.

After reflecting on the responses I have to agree, folding pre both times is the right play.

Oh yeah, it's actually a 1-2-3 game with a dollar otb, which is why it's 4 to me in the sb.

Villian's remark lead me to show the bluff which he responded to by claiming he had a lower flush draw. 2C 4c which is obviously bs. I immediately decided that showing was a mistake but hey it was pretty enjoyable.

IMHO, if you're going to play like the degens @ the table from time to time, I would not rub it in their face after you pull off the bluff.

I can't imagine anyone, who has read a lot of poker literature, who has not read where the author explains that people enjoy playing poker with people who are sociable & friendly.

That is unless that's the common theme after the hand is played out. Still, I'd refrain from doing it & if asked what I had, tell them "You know me. When was the last time you saw me bluff?"

Slapping someone in the face with your bluff is not the way to remain friendly. Now he's going to be lookin' to get even rather than have an enjoyable evening with you tossing chips around.
