Hi all!

As my nickname indicates, my main poker experience is related to online heads-up sit&go. I have also played some MTTs here and there, but without a deep understanding of what I was doing.

I am thinking about trying some luck at a local casino in €1/€2 10-men cash games 100BB deep (against mainly aggresive fish, with the ocassional nit and, every now and then, a couple of regs, mostly former successful online players who have moved on and play now mostly for fun). Rake is €1 for every €20 in the pot, always rounding down (and no rake if folded preflop)

I am interested in knowing what my skillset should be to beat those games. Of course, with very basic ABC-style poker we can beat the field most of the time, but if I would like to make a somewhat serious income out of this. Let's say I start from scratch (although I know some poker, my skills apply to quite different situations).

My plan is to work on the following aspects of general poker theory for full-ring games (please feel free to tell me anything you would add/remove)

- Preflop ranges (OR, limp-behind, 3bet, 4bet and squeeze from each position)
- Addaptations to straddling (quite common in these games)
- Cbetting (HU and multiway pots)
- Check-raising and check-calling flop ranges.
- Range balance (finding adequate bluffs/semibluffs in different boards)

Of course, I understand that, playing against generally weak opponents, I should also pay attention to exploitative play. Without further reads, where should I be devaiting from the "optimal" play? What are the situations where I can get the most EV?

Finally, what would be your advice regarding bank management? In a previous post I saw that the target should be about a 10bb/hour ROI (which is CRUSHING), but assuming how many hands played? What is a typical value for a standard deviation every, let's say, 100 hands?

This is way too many questions for one thread, so I'm going to lock it before it turns into a trainwreck.

Please take your bankroll and winrate questions to the official Bankroll, Winrates and Finances thread.

Please read the threads in the stickies on converting from online to live. Then please bump them with questions they don't answer sufficiently for you, or if the question is threadworthy, start a new one with one question.

Very generally, you'll have to tone the aggression WAY down. SDev for winning LLSNL players varies wildly, with about 100bbs/hr being very common, but numbers from 50-200bbs/hr being reported. Generally live is much swingier than online full-ring, but not HU.
