Both Vs are relatively unknown, but seem to play loose passive, calling a lot of big bets. v1 is especially splashy, nearly maniac. H came from another table and hasn't played many hands in this one.

stack: 600 (350 eff against v1, maybe 450 eff against v2)
hand: 55
position: CO
stakes: 2.5/2.5

pre: live straddle for 5 pot. ep v1 (splashy) makes it 15. 3 other callers. H calls.
flop (75) 5c3x6c: splashy ep bets 45. v2 calls.

Should h call or raise? how much would be appropriate raise?

While calling $15 is fine, I will sometimes 3-bet in these spots and try to pick up the dead money, especially if the initial raiser is opening very wide.

You have to raise here. Wet board. Two interested opponents, one who is really loose. Pot is currently $165 and V1 has $290 behind, while V2 has $390 behind. I assume the the other players have folded.

I like a raise to $200, which gives 2.3 to 1 pot odds. V will likely ship it if he has an overpair anyway, so I am concerned about what odds to give V2 in case V1 folds. Raising to $200 gives you the easy turn shove. If both players fold, no big deal.....you won a nice pot.

I like pre and I like a raise now. From description, they aren't folding most of their holdings. I go $175 to $200.

This is one of those flopped set spots we don’t want to slow play. There are way to many bad turn cards and we want draws to put money in now. I’m probably raising it to $150. This might be a bit on the small side but it sets you up for a turn shove nicely.

Yeah villians seem like calling stations, any overpair/fd/OESD is going to call your raise no-matter which size going for 200$ gives you an ez turn shove on non-club/2/7/4 turns. If v1 seems truely a manic I wouldnt mind just going all-in here in my experience these maniacs often talk themselfs into a call in these spots even with just one pair holdings

I like a shove. The pots already $200. Overpairs will put you on combo draws. You won't get much more out of medium hands anyway and many turns kill action/beat you.

It's very hard for anyone to have a straight here, which is good because you won't be against one, and it helps you get a call. "Did you call my raise with 74?"

There's no harm in charging their big draws the maximum.

H raised 122.5 and got two folds. Should probably go bigger as suggested.

Please please please please please raise here. There’s so many turn cards that will kill your action against overpairs, or put you in a position where you can’t value bet.

Honestly on this board given stacks, just go all in. It seems huge but a pot sized raise is already 225. It’s way easy to balance with your 87cc/A4cc type hands. And I don’t think your opponent will fold an overpair.
