Sickest hand I've ever played at 1/3 Sickest hand I've ever played at 1/3

3 players, I'm UTG with 44, I call and it goes to a flop with 4 in. Flop comes A 4 Q two spades. I bet out 20 when checked to and the guy to my left shoves for 35 total, next to him calls and the big stack makes it 135 total. I call other guy folds. Turn comes another ace, I check and he bets another 100. I call, river is a blank 3 of hearts and he moves all in? I've got about 450 left and he's got about 1000. Would love to hear some thoughts here.

Only information you have provided so far are:

1. You have bottom set on flop.

2. You bet, unknown A goes AI, and unknown B that has you cover at ~200bb effective is showing a lot of aggression.

3. You have bottom FH on turn.

4. Unknown B is showing continuous aggression.

5. You still have bottom FH on river, and flush draw bricks out.

6. Unknown B is putting you all in (150bb) for less than a pot size bet.

With so little information, I am folding.

I don't see the sick part. He has an ace. Maybe a boat. Whatever.

Sick = villain making big bet when hero has less than the nuts.

Villain has been pretty aggressive shoving over people's bets unnecessarily lately, but no raise pre-flop this hand and you're folding?

Shoving over $20 bet with $60 effective is one thing.

Shoving $450 into $500+ is another.

Well I tank called after about 5 minutes and he had AQ, the guy who was all in had A4.

Definitely missed a raise on the flop but I doubt he was going anywhere

I agree too, but for different reasons.

Why do I get the feeling of deja vu? About to make a thread titled "Sickest hand I've played at a $10 home game!"
11-19-2013 , 04:46 AM
So I take it as atrociously played everyone's folding? How would you have played it?

you are getting leveled here.
1) your hand history is a mess, nothing useful provided in there.
2) every bit of this thread smells like a bad beat story which doesn´t belong here.
3) you don´t really ask questions

this thread is going to get locked soon enough i think, next time you really have to read the stickies and write out a proper hand history.

Flop is drawy (lot's of turn cards kill action / hand), there's been extreme action, and we are very rarely behind here unless Villain likes to limp AA/QQ.

Stuff it all in the flop kid

BBV is that way.

A good prediction.

This is really a bbv thread. 4 outers happen, especially when 4 handed.
