I guess I don't really know what I'm looking for by postin this Hh but whatever type of input is good.. Felt sick playing hands face up and calling gross
2/5 $300 bi
H ~ $275
v1 ~$300
V2 ~ $500
V3 ~ $145

folds to v1 mp raise 15 v2 hj flats v3 Btn flats h has QhQd in sb 3 bet to 45 3 calls
Flop (180) 5 2 8 rainbow
H leads 100
V1 folds
V2 shoves all in
V3 calls

V2 is the primary problem here he is a total ABC player and doesn't really get out of line I def see him 3 betting v1 pre with KK AA AKs and seemed hesitant to call my 3 bet pf so I definitely put him on a set here and v3 is not so much he could show up with top pair or a over pair like 99 10s easy lay down right?

$60 pre, can't fold now. High five the dealer.

Reraise more preflop to : 1) Possibly narrow the field or at least charge them a less favorable price to call (we give V1/V2 odds to set mine with our sizing) and 2) Create more natural stack to pot ratios (SPR) for getting all in postflop on a favorable board like this one. I would generally make it ~$75 and wouldn't hate making it a bit more to set up a natural pot sized bet on the flop if we narrow the pot to heads up

If you think V2 only shows up with sets here you have an easy fold. Can this ever be JJ/TT overplaying a favorable flop? You have to call $130 into a final pot of ($180 + (2*$230) + $100) = $740, so you only need under 18% equity to make this call profitable. You have a baseline of ~9% equity against sets, which are 9 combos. You have JJ/TT equally crushed.

9 sets + 1 combo of JJ or TT = (9/10*.9%) + (1/10 * 91%) = 17.2%

We almost have the equity we need from just 1 combo of overplayed JJ/TT. I probably sigh call. If you aren't comfortable getting your money in this way, you should take a different line, as you've committed half your stack and are now second guessing. This is a kind of flop where I consider repping AK into this short staked field by checking, knowing I'm getting my money in almost regardless of action behind.

Your 3-bet is atrocious, needs to be a minimum of $65.

As played, we are getting over 6:1 on a call here with a decent overpair. Yeah, sucks when V hits a set but there are too many villains at this level who would/could jam A8s, K8s, 99/TT here (I didn't list JJ because JJ raises pre).

If you have a soul read on villain and a firm handle on his post flop tendencies and know he is a nit that just never shoves without a set, then I guess you can fold. But barring that, if he is a typical rec fish, this is a crying call...

Given stack sizes, would've just simplified this hand as much as possible. 3 bet to $80 pre....get it in on all flops without an A or K.

As played, can't fold unless you have 100% certainty V only makes this move with a set. Get it in there and keep your fingers crossed.

Stack sizes are pretty small to start the hand and 3 betting makes committment even more likely. I would agree and 3 bet larger, as you are in a tougher spot here. stack sizing is very important here, and you should have made your choice to commit BEFORE making that flop bet because now you don't have a choice given then amount in the pot.

Thanks for all the input I know it was a weak 3 bet and it was kind of a weird spot because I was in the middle of joking with the table when action came around to me and I didn't want to tank really so I think just on a whim I reverted to 3x under pressure (bad) lanyways I tanked to his all in and felt like I was in hell facing his shove and knew I was bet but talked myself into the call since I was so heavily committed and of course dude had 88 for a set and yelled on the river and raked his nice pot
