Showing Pure Bluffs as Advertising

I don't think there's a ton of value in showing cards at 1/2, which are the stakes that I play, so I never do unless I'm forced to. I don't show bluffs, I don't show strong hands.
I'm pretty new to the game so I find this is just one less thing I need to actually worry about when I play. As I move up in stakes I suppose there could be some value when you're playing with people who (supposedly) pay more attention, perhaps manipulating them somehow, but I think I'm fine with autopilot mucking everything I can get away with without losing much if anything. Calling stations are still gonna call and the rocks are still gonna fold everything but the nuts.
