Yes, absolutely.
Obviously it is situational and you'll need to follow the flow/line of the hand, know your opponent's image/history, as well as your perceived image. Imo, will work best against a tight-weak player who you may range as an overpair or TP, but facing a nasty board. Also vs. tight, thinking players.
