Should I fire the third barrel?

This hand was played last night at local card room. Game is 2/5 and hero has roughly 500 both villains cover.

V1: Older guy. Calls everything preflop but hasnt really got OOL post flop.

V2 (Main). No info. Middle aged indian guy who is a regular at 2/5 and 5/10+.

OTTH: Hero is in the SB with QdJd and its limps five times before getting to hero. I decide to iso and raise to 25 (should be bigger?) V1 in BB calls and V2 in Cutoff calls.

Flop: Flop is 8c9s3d and hero continuation bets for 45. Both villains call.

Turn: 5d. Thought this is a good card for me to continuing to barrel as my range should look strong and can rep many hands/also picked up more equity. Hero leads for 90 (Bigger?). Villain calls.

River: black 6. Well now its decision time. Should I fire the final barrel or just accept defeat? What range should i put villain on here?

Thought on all streets is appreciated.

Other info: Heros image is tight. Havnt played many hands.

Re: Should I fire the third barrel?

Pre is not good: your hand is bad and you're out of position and your raise size is way too small. You aren't isolating anyone with $25. If it were $1/$2 this would be a better size.

When BB cold calls you're probably in some trouble. This is going to be a strong hand and you can very well be dominated pre.

I would just give up on this flop. If I bet it would be for like pot or something crazy big. Then again I'd never be in this spot to begin with.

If I bet the turn by this time I'd just shove.

River just shut it down. Just a heads up this board is so incredibly bad for you and really good for the limpers. This is just an instance of compounding mistakes.

Re: Should I fire the third barrel?

Preflop is a squeeze and needs to be much bigger. Start at $25 and then add something because there are a bunch of limpers and you are OOP. $40/$50 looks good. Don't do it very often.

Flop continuation bet is OK. But when both call that it's time to give up. Trying to bluff the river is suicide, villains can have 7s but it's terminally unlikely you do.

As for ranges. BB is on a wide range, he has a wide range preflop and lots of things connect with this that don't give up to a single bet. 9X, 8X, over pairs and some under pairs don't give up flop. Various straight draws and possibly sets. CO has a lot of TT/9X in play with an outside chance of 98 and 87, better hands likely raise pre and sets raise flop after your bet gets a call while weaker hands fold preflop.

I agree with most of this, except for the C-bet, which I didn't like.

It's a nice turn to jam given how he got here though.

Re: Should I fire the third barrel?

This hand is an absolute must c-bet. I'd bet bigger on the flop. I'm going large on the turn, maybe just all-in. River is a range check as you can't credibly rep 7x, while both villains could have 7x.

With so many limpers I'd just complete pre. If you do raise $25 is waaaay too small. I'm surprised you got even a single fold.

Re: Should I fire the third barrel?

Would either make this $50 pre or just complete. Making it only $25 just invites this pot to be 4+ ways. Surprised there were only two callers.

On the flop, I don't mind a polar betting strat. Would bet 88-QQ, and some bluffs like QJdd. If this hand was more multiway, I would check range.

As played, the turn really isn't a great card for your range. We never have 76s and Villains can. When both villain's call, I am checking range here.

River is a clear give up. You rep no nines except pocket nines which may not even bet turn.

I agree with all this. QJs is really close from sb facing so many limpers. Flop is potentially a great board to barrel, but this may be one of the worst runouts for us.

We do pick up equity OTT, but this turn doesn't get us many folds, and we would hate to get check-raised here.
