Should I Bluff This River??? Should I Bluff This River???

v2- main villain is overall TAG. Have been playing with him for about 4 hours. He has the capability to run some bluffs ive seen two of them get looked up on river and he mucked. I have the feeling he might be tilting hes starting to complain a lot about his run bad and how everyone is so lucky. He is in the game for about 1000$ but is sitting with roughly $500.

OTH

v1 (utg) $1200- opens $15.00

Hero (utg+1) $1200 3 bets to $50.00 AK

folds around to v2

v2 (BB) $500 - calls $50.00

v1- calls $50.00

Pot= $151.00

Flop- K92

v2 (BB)- donk leads out $25.00

this was strange I have not seen him do this at all tonight

v1- folds

Hero- calls $25.00 Thoughts??

Turn- 7

v2- leads out $100.00

Hero- calls $100.00 do you fold? or as the line we have taken is there merit in calling?

River- J

V2- checks

Hero- ???????

TBH I was having trouble ranging him on this hand

You cant let a guy get away with leading $25 into a $150 pot. I would raise that bet with a lot less than AK. As played I probably fold the turn. As played you are in a tough spot on the river.

It kinda looks like he has a medium flush but did he really cold call $50 with middle to high suited cards? Seems unlikely. Which ones? QsTs and Ts8s are straight flushes. He would probably shove those hoping you have the As.

The only other hand I can really put him on is AsKx, AsQs or possibly AsAx hoping you will shove the river.

I just give up here.

Raise the flop for value vs tilting villain who's almost never folding.

As played call turn, check river.

Yeah F that flop bet. I'm raising to $125 and going from there. These donk leads are usually not pure air or monsters. They tend to represent what they are, middling to weaker hands that can't face much heat, or draws trying to set their price.

However the guy did cold call a 3! preflop. Usually this is decent pairs + AK from a TAG. I expect to be chopping this pot a lot.

I'm guessing from the fact that you are asking if you should bluff the river that he showed up with something like 2-pair or a set that might've folded had you bombed it. But I'm never doing it here. You have decent showdown value. I think I play the hand the same way.

There's no monsters available on that flop. This is often a FD hoping to get to see a cheap turn. Raise the flop. Fold the turn. He went from betting 1/6 of the pot on the flop to a 1/2 PSB on the turn. He might as well have shown you his cards to prove he had the flush.

What you were going through is entitlement tilt. You had a good hand pf and likely the winning hand on the flop. You aren't accepting that you actually lost it. Odds are lower that he has the nut flush, or he would have bet out on the river. If you feel you need to prove you've got bigger balls than he has, then put him all in. He'll either angrily fold cursing his luck or spite call you. Hard to tell at this point. You should have never been in this position.
